Connected Ps3 via hdmi to my amp, then hdmi to my tele but cant get a video picture only sound, help!?

I have my ps3 connected by hdmi to my amp, amp is connected hdmi to my tele, for some reason i can only get sound no video, only way i can get a picture is plugging the composites directly into my tele, this doesnt seem right, can any one help?

There is a setting in SETTINGS-DIGITAL AUDIO.  Make sure it is set to digital audio vie HDMI.

check that you are on the right AV selection, that happened when i set up my PS3 but then clicked through the AV's and i got a picture.

its a setting, change comp to hdmi, that said i ran mine through a sony hdmi amp and the piicture blew ***

If the PS3 connected by itself to the tv gives you picture then you must check the HDMI settings on your receiver, make sure that HDMI video mode is turned on.
