Connecticut weather?

Hi, people keep telling me that winter in CT can be very bad and it last more than 3 months, please advice me in how to learn to love it. I have never felt the winter season can depress me but I am from CA where the weather is really wonderful.

Learn how to stay warm and then go out and mess around in the snow.   Or go inside and light the fireplace and read a book or listen to music..

It's not as bad as people think. Most areas in Connecticut have warmer weather than most New England states. It's only about 20 or 30 degrees cooler than California. The average temperature is below 40 degrees for only 2 months in most places. It's not that bad if you compare it to Vermont or New Hampshire. By late March it's as warm as California. You'll get used to it and it goes really fast.

i grew up in florida, then moved to missouri and lived there 6 years. you never end up enjoying winter. and i'm happy to be back in the tropics (even though it ain't florida)
