Hey guys I have a a 42'' Sharp Aquos HDTV and when i try to connect my PC to it via HDMI I get video but no audio. Is there perhaps something wrong with my settings on the PC and/or TV? I tried googling stuff but no luck. If it's any help I'm using windows vista. I'd appreciate any help =D

  1. Chances are that if you are going from HDMI out on your PC to the HDMI in on your TV, it should be carrying audio, but you may have to configure your audio on yoru PC to enable the audio stream. You can try right-clicking on the speaker icon at the bottom of your toolbar, select "Playback Devices" and see what it's set to and you may have to have it on the Digital Output option if it's there.

  2.    Your TV only supports video via HDMI. You need to connect audio cable from PC to TV to get sound.
