Connecting Pokemon Ruby to other Pokemon games?

Question

I was wondering what Pokemon games can Pokemon ruby connect to besides Sapphire?

Like to trade Pokemon and stuff.

Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire versions lack the wireless adapter. Because of this, the only way they can connect to other games besides generation 2 and 4 (DP), is by a link cable. With a link cable, you will be able to connect with:

• LeafGreen + Fire Red

• Sapphire (as you already mentioned)

• Emerald

• Pokémon Colosseum

• Pokémon XD

• Pokémon Box

Some of these games are played via Game Cube. Again, a link cable will be needed to connect with that system.

You can interact with Diamond and Pearl versions in the sense that you are migrating Pokémon to those games, not trading at all. In Diamond and Pearl, the only way some Pokémon are available is if you actually insert your Game Boy games (including R & S) into the specified slot in your DS.

There are also certain requirements for some games. For example, the only wait you can trade with FireRed & LeafGreen is if you beaten the Elite Four (or acquired the National Dex).

All games from generation 2 an below are not compatible since they are played via Game Boy/ Color and not Advance.

u can trade to leafgreen and firred but only after u beat the elite 4 in that and then u have to find this special stone

ive got leafgreen and sapphire but i never got round to connecting
