Connecting Wii Controller to a Computer?

Question

I've tried connecting my wii my laptop through bluetooth but windows only detects the controller and then does nothing with it. I tried a different software called "Bluesoleil" and it worked perfectly...but the demo disabled me from doing anything useful. Does anyone have any solutions or got past this issue? I'd like to try using the wiimote on a computer game, please help, its much appreciated! Thanks!
