Connecting a laptop to a wireless router and modem? HELP PLEASE?

So i have this laptop that is already hooked up to a wireless router and modem but i didnt connect it. & now i bought a second laptop and was wondering how would you connect the second laptop to this one. Please Help .

  1. Just turn it on - it should find the wireless signal and connect to it.  Make sure the wireless switch on the laptop, if there is one, is turned on.
