I have a 200W Stereo and 4 speakers (2x250 & 2x160 W). I have installed them my self, and they sound really good, but i think they can be much louder. In consequence yesterday was the second time that it below up my fuse! Should I connect an AMP? How many watts? how many channels?

I appreciate any of your answers!

  1. to power speakers?

    600 watt 4 channel, non-generic amp

that puts 150 watts to each speaker (not exceeding, your speakers max)

however, if your looking for sound, i believe you will still want more, try investing in a sub-woofer of some kind, depending on what type of music you like

  2. if your blowing a fuse make shure your connections are right. NO EXPOSED WIRES. something is grounding out, which can cause damage to the alternator. check everything. speakers, radio connection, under the hood. but while your doing that hook the RCA's up and the remote wire. amp is purely up to you. but don't exceed the max(i would stay 25w under each speaker.) main thing is wires. use good wires. monster is a must. and remember, don't run power and RCA within a foot of each other. that's called road noise.
