Connecting computer to cd player speakers

I need to know which cable i need to buy to connect from my computers audio output socket into the aux input on my cd player (i just have one socket on the front of my cd player saying aux)

It depends on what type of jack each has.  Usually computers have a 3.5mm stereo jack for their output.  And stereos usually have a pair of red and white RCA jacks.  So you would need a cable with those respective types of plugs on each end.  These cables are readily available at any Radio Shack, Target, Best Buy, et cetera.  If your stereo has some other type of auxiliary jack though, you'll need a different cable.  For the most part, in dealing with that sort of an application, if it fits the jack on both ends, it should work.  If you included pictures, I could be more help.
