  1. Digital Scan Converter will work if your TV does not already have VGA inputs.  They start at around $80 and can be as much as $2K

  2. All you need is the RGA cable that you have hooked your computer up to your computer monitor with.    If the TV you are speaking of has a RGA plug-in, that is all you need.

  3. You can use an S-Video cable, as long as your computer has an S-Video output, and as long as your TV has an S-Video input. You can use VGA, DV-I, or HDMI if you want to. But remember, go from the output in your computer, to the Input in your TV.

  4. I like to hook my laptop to my tv to watch movies/videos on a bigger screen. I do this using an S-video cord. The connection for the S-video  looks like this

Depending on the TV, it may have a HDMI/DTV connection which can be used by purchasing a cord that goes from you pc's monitor jack to an HDMI jack in the TV.

Basically it all depends on your Computer/video card and your tv.

  5. using a vga cable if you have vga port on tv

myself i use a pixel magic mb200 and transfer all movies music or photos to it that way the pc does not have to be on as it has its own hard drive.
