Connecting dish network to wireless network?

Can I use a usb wireless adapter. ( the kind that looks like a thumb drive) to connect my dish network box to my wireless network, or does it need to be directly wired to my router. Thank you

Well i don't have dish as i live in Canada but i'm guessing your wanting to plug this into a usb port in the back which will most likely not work.

What you can get is a wireless bridge which converts wired-Ethernet devices to Wireless.

Of course there might be cheaper one.  So that would be might suggestion as i don't know what model you have.
