Connecting electronic devices?

My TV has these connections HDMI Input: x2, Component In:x3, S-Video in:x2, Composite in:x3, Headphone Out:x1, HD15 / PC Audio Input:x1 Total Connectable Sources:7 and my home theatre system has Analogue Audio In/Out:2/1,Optical Digital In/Out:2/0, Digital Coaxial In/Out:1/0, HDMI In/Out:2/1, DM Port:1 (no OSD), Component Video In/Out:3/1, Composite Video In/Out:4/1, Subwoofer Output:4 and i wish to connect a ps3, xbox360 and nintendo wii to get them running through the home theatre system whats the best way to do it?

  1. If you speakers run through a receiver you need to plug them in to it or you can't use the home theater setup for them. Plug them all in to the receiver ps3 and xbox i would go component and optical sound cable (not sure what they come with) the wii i would use the cables it comes with, run them all to the inputs on your receiver than one component output from receiver to your t.v. input (no sound cable needed as your t.v. sound won't be necessary) most ppl don't realize that your receiver is what is important for sound if you use one.

    If you have you speakers directly connected to your TV than do the same but connect to TV not receiver
