Connecting lh-t550tb ps3 surround sound

Question

how to connect the lh-t550tb to ps3 to have surround sound. i have plugged in the ps3 using hdmi for display output but how do i have surround sound as the output. as i only have the ps3 sound coming out of the tv speakers. can i do it on the receiver so i can make it come out as hdmi, because it only has avi or tv-audio. please please help

Once you have the new speakers connected, go to the ps3 settings, souns settings and select sound output settings and you can change it there

     Optical cable from PS3 to receiver if your receiver has optical input.
