Connecting my surround system to my video?

i can connect my dvd player to my suuround sound system easy using a coax lead because my dvd player has a coax connection my video player dosent how do i go about connecting my video to my cinema system

You can get a SCART connector with phono switchable

outlets from any good electrical retailers, even B&Q,

try that see if it works for you.
