Connecting to Playstation Network From PS3?

Okay im tying to hook up wirless internet to my ps3 i have done it before at my summer house. I have a 60 GB all ps3 60GB and up are all equipped with wireless internet access. At home i have 100% signal cuz i play my ps3 in my bedroom but it still wont connect to the IP address. Do i have a firewall or something up? And btw when i was at my summer house i was connecting from our neighbors laptop. PLZZZ help me wanna connect with my friends thanks!

your ps3 could be recognizing the laptop's internet address or try turning your modem off and then turn it back on even though it's wireless cause the same thing happened with my 360 so i turned off the modem and turned it back and and then it connected but that's just me but try it anyways

you probably didnt type your key right if you have a password set up then you need to write it out in your ps3 correctly  and in the right caps  hope this works
