Connecting to Xbox Live from my dorm room?

Yes my school allows it and i have called to see if i needed to register it but they said they have no documentation on how to register. I have to login every day to ResNet to use internet on my computer. is there a way to connect my computer to the internet and then connect my xbox to my computer?

i use a way to connect my 360 to live through my computer by network bridging. You would need your computer to have wireless connection to connect to the internet and your xbox to connect to the wired internet slot on your computer assuming you have winxp you can go to the network connections in the control panel, highlight both connections, right click and click bridge connections. i hope that helps
