I have Linux Red Hat Fedora Core 2 on my laptop and it doesn't read my wireless card. So I'm trying to connect it with a cable in the router. I can't figure out how to connect it to the internet. Any help at all would be nice. It reads my network card. If anyone knows how to connect it to the internet, please explain how, thanks.

  1. It should do it automatically. Instead of plugging it into the router, try plugging it directly into the wall. It could be a problem with your router, if your wireless isn't working.

  2. If it is reading your card it will connect automatically.  Have you signed up with an internet provider?
