Connecting up

i have the new LG LCD tv and the HD DVD Cinema system, also a virgin box and a Ps3, I would like to set them up so that I can have surround sound on them all. please can you tell me how to connect them all up. I have the Hdmi cable and fibre optic ones too. I have only a scart connection on the virgin box.
