Connecting xbox 360 to computer troubles?

Question

i connected my xbox 360 to my computer through an ethernet cable and my computer is stating that the local area connection has limited or no connevtivity and my 360 says that im not connected at all. help please?

to say from experince..its a pain.

in my house I run a 200GB personal server, and from what microsoft told me when I called them, I could connect to it.

bull. the best thing I can say is call microsoft and ask what you can do to connect to it.

or you could just give up on it all together.
