To answer your question "No," there is no yellow exclamation mark present next to the device, it continues to be known as "unknown device." Tis is the first use of this device, when I connect it to the keyboard port (where it gets power from) it comes to life, beeps and the lights flash. I downloaded a virtual serial com port software package from download.com. Prior to this I was unable to get it to work on any port. After installing that software it was opening all 8 ports so I am still a tad perturbed.I look forward to any advice that you may offer.Thanks again for your time.Best Regards
