My mom purchased a new ceiling fan, which is a Nassau 52" Ceiling Fan. She has a switch on the wall that has three modes, low-medium-high, and the fan does not work properly. In the low position the fan barely moves at all and the light is on, in the medium position the fan really doesn't go any faster and the light goes off, in the high position the fan doesn't work in a high mode compared to the other fans she has had and again the light is off. My husband hooked it up exactly like the instructions indicated, and we can not figure out what is wrong with it, Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!
