Connection problems??

On my desktop computer the modem is connection to the comp for my internet i have dsl by the way, and i have another different router that is connected from the real modem to that router and then to my other comp which is a laptop.. but when i play this game and want to play on my laptop and my desktop i doesnt let me play.. this is because they are the same connections i think.. is there anyway to change that ?? so that i can get in to the same rooms?

  1. Ok, this is how it works.  You have a DSL, then you have an RJ45 patch cable to your Network Interface card (NIC), or it is called an ethernet card.

    Or your DSL modem RJ45 output to attached to an input of a Router.  This allows you to have numerous computer connector to the router.  If you have a router then you have all the information from the manufactures web site.  You might have restricted yourself.

    There is no reason why you cannot play through your routers up to the limit of the connections of the router.
