  1. Things to check:

    1.  Make sure DHCP (in router) is leasing enough addresses for all devices in your network

    2.  Make sure that your router is not filtering out your computer's mac address

    3.  Check to see if your SSID is in broadcast mode (it should be on for the initial setup)

    4.  Verify that your computer or device is using the same authentication mode as the router

    5.  You want to use a simple password for troubleshooting puposes.  It is possible you could be typing in a bad PW.

  2. Can you please try to be a little more specific? Did you change the password in your router?

Sometimes if your router reboots after a settings change, your computer won't pick up a new IP address right away. Unplug your network plug and plug it back in a short while later to get it to try to pick up a new IP address, which may fix the issue.

Did you accidentally turn DHCP or some other service setting off while you were changing passwords?

You weren't very clear in your question, I answered to the best of my ability with the information given.
