Question:

Connection to my HDTV...?

This is my first HDTV, and that might be the only reason why I am having trouble. I am trying to connect my PlayStation2 to my new Philips HDTV. The PS2 has the standard Yellow-White-Red connector. Can I plug that in to the Y-Pb-Pr-L-R port on the back of the TV? If so, do I put the Yellow video cord into the Y port on the back?

  1. NO, the Y, Pb, Pr, L, R connection is for a component cable. The PS2 cable you have is a standard RCA connection. Your TV should have the RCA (Red/White/Yellow) which you should plug into. It won't work anywhere else.
