  1. No, unless he's a personal friend or has worked with you he's not going to help you out in any way.  That is really stretching it.  He doesnt even know who you are I bet.  Real connections come from getting experience, working hard, being on time... starting small, working for no pay, having one line but being nice and humble and talented.  People will notice you.  You will become friends with people who can help get you work simply because you like one another, not because you're looking for a favor.  You have to start your career the hard way like everyone else, no shortcuts.  That means school plays, classes, small films, college programs, etc etc etc.

  2. no.  who needs connections if you talent?  look for auditions here, then make your own connections: hollywood-opportunities(dotcom)

  3. no but you shoudlnt need a connection just get classes and get in plays and get an agent

for everythign you need to know about acting go to actinginfo.blogspot.com and search around the whole site and same for talentagents.blogspot.com

it will tell you about real agents and fake ones and what to do at auditions etc

  4. Not really...I'm related to Frank Sinatra's ex wife or whatever...Nancy Sinatra who was a singer, she's my great aunt lol...but she's not considered a connection to me...

    so not really...

  5. no its too distant. a connection would b like (fake examples) my grandfather is the founder of Paul's Cheesecake factory. Or, my mom is a tight friend to a radio talk show host. Or my friend knows Tim McGraw.
