Are these good waterskis? I am looking at buying these from Overtons.com. Would you recommend Connelly. I am a intermediate skier. My shoe size is 6.5 ladies...my husband wears an 11. He is brand new to sking. Trying to buy some waterskis we can both enjoy.....Thanks,

  1. these combo skis are great for beginners but once you start practising slalom (zig-zags), you will find it quite hard and uncomfortable. they are not easy to manoeuvre as the surface area of them is very wide. I would suggest  "odyssey" or "quantum" under the same "combo pairs" headline. they can get you from beginners' level to advanced and even begin mono-skiing with it. connelly and o'brien are top ski producers in the world. I have been training water skiers and wakeboarders for last 7 years and have been using combo crossfires for quite a long time. they are great to begin with, but once you are bored of going straight (which wont take long), you need to get rid of them and get thinner skis like quantum or odyssey series of connelly. hope that helped...
