If you could add a few more words..it would be helpful.  What about conversational Spanish?  Do you want recommendations for schools, or books, or a conversation group?  If you are a total beginner, best book I have found is "Spanish for Gringos"...comes with a CD and only costs about $13.00 through Amazon.com.

it depends on the country, each one has their own accent and words, so sometimes a phrase won´t mean the same or nothing at all in another place, but we still can travel around all these countries and you´ll always get a point, because in spanish you can place adverbs, subjetcs, etc on different positions and 99% of cases it will be correct, besides in our culture we don´t mind correct you with some words, good luck :)
