Conrad Smith asks his side to be careful against Wallabies in final of Tri Nations
All Blacks veteran midfielder, Conrad Smith, has asked his team to be careful during their last clash of Tri Nations Cup 2011 against the Wallabies on August 27. The two great test sides of the world are standing neck to neck in the final of the Tri-Nations
cup in Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane. Conard Smith advised his team that Wallabies have comprehensive depth in their side and they could be very dangerous on home ground.
Both teams are meeting for the second time in the tournament and the previous encounter was won by All Blacks. Furthermore, the All Blacks are coming off from a stunning defeat by the Springboks which they received on August 20th in Durban. The All Blacks
had sent a comparatively inexperienced side to South Africa which did not work out.
Talking to the media Smith inspired his colleagues to give their best output against Wallabies. The centre further said that, “They all have their strengths and weaknesses. We don't look at individuals too much to be honest. Whoever they replace them with,
they are a very good team in terms of the way they all play as a team and as a back line especially. That's what we're focusing on more.”
He further said that, “It's the way they interact as a back line that poses the biggest threat. They'll be a bit of a handful and proud of their defensive efforts. They are pretty direct on attack. That's something we haven't looked at a lot but I'm sure
that's what they'll bring to the table.”
Conard Smith is one of the senior campaigners of his side as he has been playing for All Blacks since 2004. He has won 48 test caps for his team and collected 95 points in those outgoings. Smith will play his first Rugby World Cup with the All Blacks as
he missed the last stall due to number of injuries.
The sides are well prepared for their final outgo before Rugby World Cup 2011.
