Cons about ecotourism?

Question

i know that people argue that ecotourism brings job opportunities, but are the jobs really low-paying service jobs [maids, waiters, etc]?

what other cons are there besides:

-destroy animal habitats & decrease in natural resources

-tourists bringing pollution and cultural differences/stereotypes

greed / idle minds / adventure has led to creation of eco-t.  we just  cant leave nature alone.  so we clear land etc make resort to observe eco.  

yes u r right - tourists brings pollution etc.  they shld stop or reduce it.  it cant be stopped now, anyway.the jobs r useful though.

its education and service to humanity tt will bring sanity into this bizness

Even the low paying jobs are important.  Without those jobs, families would be starving
