Consequence?? caught sneaking into a rated R movie ??

what would happen if me and my friend get caught sneaking in to a rater R movie

but we bougt tickets fot another movie??

they'll usually just make you leave, but i've never had any law enforcement get involved.

Danny, you are mistaken as per the question. Sneaking in to a movie that you did NOT purchase tickets for is against the law. You could be charged with theft of services or trespass.

Now being underage but having the ticket is another matter.

Technically, sneaking into an R-rated movie undersage is not illegal. There is no law that says that a movie theater must not allow underage people into R rated movies alone -- even NC-17. The MPAA ratings systems are a guideline that, while legally unenforcable, movie theaters can choose to follow. By sneaking into the movie you are breaking the theater's rules, but you are by no means breaking the law. Sneaking into a movie that you didn't buy a ticket to is another story.
