Not Me...After receiving degree and graduating college if less than two years later a person gets caught for forging documents and lying about their income on federal and state documents and a lot of other things to obtain school loans what might happen to their teaching degree? There has yet to be a conviction if it matters. Will they get hired and allowed to be around children? Could anything happen to their credits or degree? What are the chances the school and or government will do anything? Opinions please. thanks.

This is a re-post. Maybe I posted in the wrong section or at a "less active" time, had no response on first one, so I'll try again. thanks

  1. Read the terms of the loan to see what will happen if you use fraudulent information to obtain it.

  2. From the FAFSA site:

If you get federal student aid based on incorrect information, you will have to pay it back. You may also have to pay fines and fees. If you purposely give false or misleading information on your application, you may be fined $20,000, sent to prison, or both.

Whoever is the person being investigate, their work situation may be the smaller part of their problems.  It doesn't pay to cheat if you get caught.

  3. Hopefully they end up in jail.   A person with morals this low has no business being around children.

  4. If this isn't you.. then I would worry about yourself and not about other people.
