Question:

Conservation and land management...?

i am finishing year 12 and i have applied for a conservation and land management coarse.. is there anyone who has done this that could tell me how it is.. if it is enjoyable. Any information would be very helpful :)

  2. Its a wonderful Job...government wages are so high...NOT. And you have wonderful prospects...NOT. Lots of work ,little pay and lots of hassle. Think again about a career. By the way, Rubbish tip workers get more money.

  3. i am not in AUSTRALIA BUT WHY DO YOU NOT GO TO EUROPE TO STUDY THERE IS MORE CHOICE AND MORE AWARENESS, you can also get a study funding

From an American perspective (Bachelors in Environmental Science/Conservation Biology & Masters in Coastal Science focusing in wetland rehabilitation), conservation jobs do not tend to be for those who are wishing to become amazingly rich. However, you may be able to hit a treasure trove if you head toward the private consultancy side. Overall, if you have a passion for nature & the earth, pour your heart into it.... you may feel as though you can't save the world, but we need people with passion to help at least save the bits & pieces that we have left! :D
