  1. Maybe don't have a huge bash.  It maybe be what every 16 year old girl is having for her party, but just have some close friends at your party.

You could have a scavenger hunt during your party.  If you make the list and tell people the only areas they are allowed to search you should be fine.

If you are going to have a big bash.. maybe have some of your parents friends be chaperone's.  You could have some fathers/uncles/cousins be security, unless they are actually going to be at your party.  You could also have each person who is going to your party have to wear a wrist band.  Then you can keep the crashers out.  Just be sure to not invite any of the people who would break the rules, and if you do tell them to promise not to, but if they do then they will be kicked out.

  2. YOU CAN HAVE LIKE A PARTY THAT IS SORT OF LIKE A PROM THE PEOPLE CAN BRING DATES AND YOU CAN SET UP A TABLE OR SUMTHING WITH LIKE PASTIC MARTINNI (DNT KNOE HOW TO SPELLTHAT)GLASSES AND PUT LIKE JUICE OR SUMTHING IN IT.IF U HAVE A IPOD OR SUMTHING LIKE THAT U CAN HAVE THE I HOME SO THAT YOU CAN CONTROL THE MUSIC.....IF U ARE CONCERNED THAT PEOPLE MIGHT DO SUMTHING WRONG THAT PISSES OFF UR PARENT JUST INCLUDED ON YOUR INVITATIONS THAT IT IS NOT ALLOWD

  3. Just use your ipod and control the music the whole night. Just have people dance. And easy if things start getting to rowdy tell them to stop. Its your party!

  4. First off as a parent everything you listed is pretty much on everyone's list of rules.  I do allow some rap but not the vulgar stuff.  Anyway, you need help from adults to enforce the rules.  We had rented a hall and we live in the burbs and the kids got out of hand many times.  There was one group of kids who were so destructive.  We had fancy tables that sat 8.  At their table they spilled all their drinks on our overlays we had on the tables.  They had food all over the table crushed and crumbled.  We just had appetitzers.  We had instant cameras on all the tables for guests to take pictures to capture memories for us.  The took the batteries out of the camera and smashed it  including all the pictures that may have been in there.  We had ballloon arrangements on the table.  They released the helium balloons that went up high in the cathedral ceiling and then shredded apart the balloon weight.  Then, we caught them kicking a can.  They were pretty much like rowdy college guys. So we constantly had to be on them.  Also we had to make sure kids stayed in the areas we wanted them in.  Couples tried to go make out in the bathrooms and other rooms.  It took 4 adults to do this.   Just ask your parents to be there.  There is nothing wrong with that.  You coudl put an insert inside your invite stating the rules and dress code.

I would suggest a movie party maybe from 7-10 pm.  They sell all the decorations for this theme at oriental trading.  That way for 2 hours you have them sitting watching a movie.  For other activities you could do karaoke, play wii or PS.  Have pizza and have a sundae bar.  Your girlfriends could sleep over.

  5. Honey, I would not permit alcohol or bad language at your age either and I'm far from conservative.  Simply ask your friends to please respect the house.  Have good food and music and all should be OK.  Don't invite anyone you think might be trouble.

  6. Why dont you skip the whole big party thing and just do something with a few close friends. Still try to make it a special day though. You could maybe hire a limo, go and get your hair/nails done somewhere fancy, and then go out for tea somewhere nice. And afterwards if you wanted to you could even go and stay at a hotel somewhere. Make it friends you know well and trust, that way you know they wont get out of hand. =D

  7. Have a fun theme like 80's prom or something where you can control the music played. For activity you could set up a prom photo place with the cheesy balloons etc for people to take pics. Also, serve good food and fun (and cute looking) mock-tails so that people will want to drink them and not sneak in booze! If you are concerned about people bringing alcohol to the party just politely request that they don't on the invite.
