After 5 years of whining and complaining every time the subject was raised, today Bush announced a “general time horizon” for troop withdrawals from Iraq.

NOPE it's a flip-flop = and this ONLY came about Obama kept talking about wanting to establish a timetable for troop withdrawals - EVERYONE was all upset stating how he didn't know what he was talking - now look, Bush is saying the say thing.......I guess Obama DOES know what he's talking about after all!

  3. You do mean the years of Bush saying that we'd withdraw when the Iraqi government asked us to? And now that they've asked us to have a withdrawal timeline, Bush starts working on one.

    Where's the flip-flop?

  4. The major difference:  the war has now been won.  There is little reason to leave troops in Iraq if they are not needed.

    The main idea is win the war then go home.

  5. That's the Iraqi plan, what else can he do ?  They are a sovereign nation, in case you forgot.
