Consider Kevin Love for MVP, Says Detroit Pistons guard Will Bynum – NBA News

With the NBA regular season coming to an end, the talk has already started as to who will be this year’s regular season Most Valuable Player (MVP).
The MVP decision is always a difficult one with many contenders every year who each deserve laurels and honours in their own respect. However, the title can only go to one individual and this year, commentators and analysts have
already started talking about players such as Kobe Bryant, Chris Paul, Kevin Durant, LeBron James and Derrick Rose.
However, one NBA player has a completely different take on the issue.
The Detroit Pistons back-up point guard Will Bynum thinks people should include Minnesota Timberwolves centre-forward Kevin Love in their list as well.
“The way he is performing is unreal.  To me, it's going kind of unnoticed. I mean, not unnoticed, but he should be getting a whole lot more credit” said Bynum after a match with Orlando Magic.
Bynum’s advice is not so far-fetched after all. Kevin Love seems to be having a fairytale season with the Timberwolves. He is averaging 26.5 points, 13.6 rebounds and a field goal percentage of 45.1% per game for the season.
Compare that to his previous season’s statistics and you will be amazed at how much this player has improved in one year. More than just stats, Love has become the poster boy of the Timberwolves and given the city hope and excitement
when it comes to basketball.
The Wolves have been performing poorly over the past few seasons but this year, Kevin has got his team fighting for the last playoff spot in the Western Conference. Fans are already comparing him to Timberwolves legendary forward
Kevin Garnett, who now plays for the Boston Celtics.
Kevin has surely had an impact on his team and his club as a whole. His team-mates are playing better with him around and there is a lot of excitement coming out of the Minnesota Timberwolves at the moment. They seem to have the
attention of the NBA.
Whether Love gets considered for the season MVP or not for his heroics both on and off the field, he is definitely a strong contender for most improved player.
