  1. If I were you, I would check out a new small, secluded resort on Long Island, about a 45 minute flight from Nassau.  It is called The Bahamian Village.  The flight will be about an additional $100/person but it is sooo worth it!  Atlantis has kids and tourists like crazy...Long Island has some of the best beaches and it is as laid back and relaxing as you can imagine.  The resort has two small beachfront condos and has a Bar/Grille with an Island theme.  It is truly an amazing place.  I went alone to relax two years ago and I loved it so much I took my girlfriend this past summer.  Definitely worth it!  their website is www.thebahamianvillage.com

  2. Atlantis is a wonderful honeymoon spot!  You will love it here!  The Cove is gorgeous, it just opened last year.  You should check out the dining plans that Atlantis offers - there is a wide array of restaurants from very pricey 5 star places, and more casual places like deli's that overlook the Marina area.  There is no charge for the beaches, waterslides, etc....that is all included when you check in.  Also enjoy the casino - all the shopping in the hotel lobby areas.

Food in general is pretty pricey all over the Bahamas - you may want to pack an empty suitcase filled with some snacks (bagels, chips, cookies, etc....things you can snack on in your room) - and buy soda at the closeby grocery stores.

    Have a great honeymoon here.

  3. Unless  your looking for a Disney adventure for your honeymoon.. I'd Nix Atlantis and find something more suitable for Romance.

Pink Sands or Coral Sands on Harbour Island,  Compass point at Gambier (nassau) , One and only Ocean Club (paradise Island)  Kamalame Cay at Andros..

Nothing like a 10, 000 kids running amok to define your honeymoon.
