  1. Austin and San Antonio are two warmer climate cities with good economies, relatively low costs-of-living, and lots of educational and cultural offerings to enjoy.

Chicago is a great American city, but it is cold in the winter and expensive year round. Good luck with a difficult decision.

  2. Shoot, I would consider a move BACK to Chicago! Where I am at now, I have warmed up to it now, with the help of places with pinball machines, going to the beach without parking so far or having to take public transportation to it, easier to come across Christians (and that is VITAL for someone who is wanting to be around the right kind of people), and some enjoyable places to eat, to name some stuff, but it gets so dang hot I don't want to be bothered going places in the summer. I mean, 80 degrees feels like 90 instead. Whew!

In the winter, ways of keeping warm is endless! Keeping cool? Shoot, even butt nakedness does not always help, and ways of keeping warm range from impossible to limited!

And ain' no way in hail do I parade in butt nakedness. I don't even like being that way when I'm alone! Not counting bath/shower time or changing clothes. So, no nudity colony for me!

  3. I've lived in New Orleans and Atlanta, which are both significantly warmer than Chicago. I loved New Orleans, but would not want to live there again now. If you enjoy the big city of Chicago, Atlanta may be good for you. It's got a lot to offer...really anything you like, but I'd advise living in the suburbs...maybe DeKalb co.
