  1. i found a video that can answer this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UmktUbRGG...

  2. Are you looking to be a exchange student in high school? If so, that's what I'm giving you information on.

How you get invovled in one is first off choosing the right program for you. Here are a few websites of highly reputable programs:

    http://www.usa.afs.org/usa_en/home

    http://www.yfu-usa.org/

    http://www.asse.com/United_States/index....

And the program I think is the best is Rotary. It doesn't really have one specific website you have to search it by district, for instance you would search "Los Angeles Rotary" if you lived in LA. Then you should try and find out who the exchange coordinator is, but if you can't find that, just email the person who runs your district. Rotary's programs are also the cheapest costing only $3,900 for all countries.

Depending on your school, it might count or might not. Some schools will not accept the credits you earn abroad but some will. You have to talk to your guidance couselor about that.

Besides of all what you mentioned the program fee usually goes towards the program itself. The program does need money to pay their employees, and to pay for training their volunteers, etc.

If you have any other questions feel free to email me. :)
