  1. I think this is a science or economic question, but how can everyone possibly afford one? I would love to have one.


  2. Probably none.  Hybrids are not much more efficient than conventional cars (a Chevrolet Cavalier gets the same gas mileage as a Prius) and the manufacturing process uses more energy.

  3. ahh probably none. because you have to use fossil fuels to fuel the plant that makes the batteries and then there is a major probable with battery disposal?

  4. I hear they get around 30% better mileage on average.   Changing our vehicles would be even more effective.   A new hybrid SUV gets worse mileage than my old, small truck.
