Considering the danger of lionfish to the health of the Carribbean and Atlantic oceans?

Should sale of these fish be banned?

Yes, they upset the natural balance of the existing ecosystem.

There will always be people who upset the natural balance of things by introducing predatory species not native to the area.  

The Lionfish does just fine on its own.

Instead of being banned, maybe the sale should be tightly controlled to those with permits for research, etc.
