  1. if it was me i would look at a bigger engine i did a engine swap on my 85 dodge ram it was fairly easy (17yrs old and have mechanical experience) but with all these computers and matching everything up its not for an average joe. throw a bigger engine in it and if you still want more power then supercharge that

  2. what a waste of money.

ok the jeep wrangler is not a sports car so get rid of that idea.

The turbo is going to create the boost at higher rpm. You do not want high rpm's on a trail or even on the road.

When fast moving things suddenly come to a stop usually something breaks.

What you may consider is stroking the engine and /or installing a different cam to move the power curve into a more desirable location.

    goodluck

  3. yes, it would add power, but depending on your engine size, it might not be worth it. Before I would turbo charge my jeep, i would look into getting a new/used, bigger engine. My jeep has a 4 cylinder, and I am going to put a 6 cylinder engine in it, because if i were to put an eight cylinder in it, many components would have to be changed out, and depending on your mechanic level, you might be able to do it yourself, but todays cars have a lot of electrical c**p on them.
