Consistency at the judiciary ? What whent wrong ?

The Rugby League judiciary has become a joke ! Who selects these bozos ? How could Merritt get 7 weeks ? For a "justified" punch when guys like Braith Anasta are guilty of throat holding & grapple tackles and deserve a punch in the mouth. Nice pounch btw ! The grapple tackles gotta go.

First off, I'm not a Roosters or Souths supporter. Fa'alogo got straight up and hit him, and really should have been sent off. If the grapple had affected him, how could he get up so quickly.

If what the doctor said in his defence, that his actions were irrational due to grapple, isn't it amazing how he picked out Anasta and hit him flush in the mouth...amazing. He got when he deserved. The defence should have been frustration at being down 26-0 against a team that couldn't make the finals, and Souths could have finished in a higher position.

You're right grapple tackles have to go, but you can't just get up and smack a guy in the head when he is not expecting it.

As soon as i saw Braith Anasta give David Faalogo a grapple tackle i was disgusted, that was even before David Faalogo got up and punched him.

I have a diverse family, one side of my family goes for thr roosters and the half go for the rabbitohs. I am a rabbits fan.

The next day, i was sitting listening to my family debate about what happened. I dont understand why David Faalogo would get time and Braith Anasta not. What i found even more disturbing was that in the Eels v Broncos somebody attempted a grapple tackle on Eric Grothe and he got up and punched the offender, but nothing more was said. I think the NRL favours some teams over others.
