Consistent hard work keeps Chinese shuttlers at the top, says Olympic Champion Lin Dan
China’s ruling World and Olympic Champion Lin Dan said that there is no genius in Chinese shuttlers as they have gained elevated craft by working hard on consistent basis. Their untiring practice in training sessions put them ahead of all shuttlers in the
entire world.
The 28-year-old Lin has been playing spectacular badminton for the last one decade and won the all major titles in the world of badminton.
Lin, who is World Number 2 in Men’s Singles world rankings, said that constant effort in practice brings player to this good and this is the secret in the success of Chinese shuttlers.
The Beijing Olympic winner Lin is generally regarded as one of the greats of all times in the arena of badminton because of his remarkable skills and mental strength that he shows in the court.
While talking about himself and his fellow Chinese shuttler, Lin said that they have come to the top positions have won major tournaments because of their hard work in training.
He said, “Not just me. None of the Chinese players are geniuses. But everyday they practice very hard. Chinese athletes make more efforts than any other national athletes. Every successful player must need cultivation and accumulation for a long time before
growing up, including techniques and tactics, psychology and experiences etc during the match, so do I.”
While talking about his success at international arena, Lin said that he has been working very hard all the time which enabled him to shine at international level.
He further added, “I think I am rather lucky and could realise my dream by constant persistence and hardworking.”
In the last one decade, Lin has grabbed five All England Open titles, Olympic gold, four World Championships title, Premier Super Series titles, Super Series crowns and many more.
Chinese shuttlers remain dominant because China constantly produces top quality shuttlers and they remain the favourites to win all major titles in the world of badminton.
Lin made it clear that getting a top position requires a constant hard work and the Chinese shuttlers have realised it very well and put in their best to achieve desired results.
