Also note: right at the beginning, bin Laden's deputy Ayman al Zawahiri explains the "justification" and explanation for their attacking civilians. Interesting insight. I couldn't really understand what you want to say, and that's why maybe you didn't have any answers when i started writing this. i want to say i don't personally think that what Bin Laden did was heroic and rather it was a heinous crime and nothing really can be a good excuse for this kind of behavior. Islam is a religion of logic and Muslims have always managed to live through hard times and power imbalance. The extremists in nearly all cultures have used assassinations as a tool in trying to enforce their point of view like the Israelis now, and there were always people who are ready to loose their lives for the cause. ww1 started with an assassination of a prominent figure in Sarayivo and Rajeev Gandhi was killed by a Tamil woman carrying a bomb in the flowers she gave him and died with him, but an attack on thousands of civilians living in their country is not really humane or Islamic in anyway.

On the other hand, the under-estimation of the consequences of what the Americans are doing is not right as well. They are very aggressive. They don't really have a policy. What they have are mostly personal interests and aggressive lobbyists who keep pushing the administration here or there and in the process they kill millions of people. and dislocate tens of millions.

When 9/11 happened; it was in the middle of a huge attack on Palestinians for few months with a blind eye from the US. the failure of the US to deliver peace as much as they wage wars is the reason why we have people like Bin Laden.

Something else i noticed in what you said. these attacks didn't happen my friend because you drink beer. you may not know that in the Islamic world there are Christians and they are not banned from drinking or living their own life even in a society of bearded people . So that was not the reason for these attacks, and by the way Bin Laden used to spend his holidays in Sweden and was a prominent investor.

So he is quite used on the American way of life.
