I recently bought a new computer that came with Windows 95 already installed. The problem I have is that every once in a while I get the message that my VMM32.VXD file is not found or cannot be loaded. I understand the concept behind VMM32.VXD (dynamic driver loader) but I'm at a loss to troubleshoot the problem or even come to a conclusion as to what kills it. There must be some way to figure out which driver is causing the problem and either fix it or move it to the VMM32 directory so it doesn't get loaded during VMM32.VXD load time (I read somewhere that this is possible). I'm seeking any advice from someone who's been there or someone who is really literate with this concept. The process I have to go through to recover this, although not complicated, is very annoying and I can't believe I have to accept this as "just the way things are". Any assistance anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated. Regards Dennis
