Constant constipation!!!?

Wanna p**p. Can't!!! Smoke and drink. Eat healthy and exercise. Not enough water but good healthy food. Constant pain in lower belly. Thought it might be cancer, gyno yesterday says no,constipation...what's up!?!? I wanna p**p, but I just can't!!!!!!!

  1. Take a laxative to get you started  ... eating healthy means different things to different people  besides, what good is eating healthy if you are smoking I had a friend who died from stomach cancer ,she smoked a great deal and drank diet cokes all the time ,anyway eating lots of fresh salads and also cabbage ,broccoli ,carrots, tomatoes, etc will give you fiber to bulk your stool up and help you go naturally ... your smoking and drinking habits may have something to do with your bowels and/or stomach ..depending on how much your body can stand before warning signs begin to appear ..  


  2. You already sed it- not enough water. drink LOTSSS to soften the stools and help you pass them.

    What sort of exercise do you do? running helps get the bowels going- i have to p**p after every run!

    Try massaging your lower belly when you feel pain, it helps me when things get 'stuck' in there. Go in a clockwise circular motion then if you feel hard bits try pushing them down in the direction where you want them to go.

    You can put psyllum husks on your food, its a natural fiber. You can sprinkle it on cereal and you wont even taste it.  


  3. If this is really constant and comes and goes alot, you may have chronic constipation.  A lot of people have it, there's no rhyme or reason a lot of the time, it's just one of those things you have to learn to live with.  

    Big glass of prune juice in the morning usually helps most people.  Sure it tastes yucky, but if you really want to go, isn't it worth it?  

    Long term fiber supplements can also help.  Benefiber seems to be pretty popular, and you can buy it just about anywhere.  

    Last resort is always stimulant laxatives like exlax.  They work, but try the other stuff first, and save that as a last option.
