Question:

Constantly wet teeth/gums/mouth?

For a few years now, i tend to have constant damp in my mouth. I dont know if this comes from teeth, gums or from my throat.

I spoke to a dentist, he said he could see no problem and that it was me producing a lot of saliva which from his point of view was a good thing. He said to speak to a doctor.

I spoke to a doctor who asked if i used mouthwash (i do) and said that she thought it was a dental thing.

My teeth are clean, my breath is fine, its just my mouth is kinda wet. It wasnt always this way, i took anti depressants a while back, but i dont know if it coincided this or whether thats just my imagination.

Any ideas?

  1. wow!! some kind of a problem to you obviously. But are you really bother about it? since your dentist told you that there's no problem about it and still he/she asked you to see a doctor? and then the doctor asked you to see a dentist? what a fun!! but what you have to do is find another dentist and ask if there's something wrong with your mouth or oral health. It's much better to be sure than you find out something wrong with you and it's already late to do some treatment. So better ask for another dentist advice or diagnoses.

  2. try using corsadil (not sure if thats the corect spelling), u can get it as toothpaste and mouth wash

if it carries on, see your hygenist
