  1. Good oils will help, such as the ones found in nuts. Also try prunes or even laxatives which you can find in the supermarket and come in the form of dried fruits.

  2. You probably need to eat more fiber and drink more water. If it becomes an on going problem try taking dulcolax. It is a stool softener, not a stimulant laxative so it does not give you cramps. We tell our pregnant patients to use it. Because a lot of women have constipation issue when they are pregnant. Yogurt also helps, especially activia.

    Good luck!

    Kali :-)

    Nurse Practitioner

  3. eat heaping amounts of Fiber Bars... the outcome will be somewhat like Hiroshima mixed with Sniker Bars. Enjoy you Shiit-Fiesta

  4. eat a banana.

    that'll help ya p**p.

  5. I would simply buy and over the counter stoole softener

it does not cause you to be runny like a laxitive, but allows you to comfortably get out what you need to get out!

theyt have it at wallgreens and such

i am sorry i cannot remember the name

but it is with all of the stomach stuff and says it is stoole softner on the box

  6. your diet should be fiber-riched. and you should be on left side lying position when you get to sleep, it will help you eliminate thus it follows the structure of our colon which contains fecal materials

  7. smoke a cigarette, its guaranteed.

  8. I think the warm water mixed with lemon was probably a good idea.  They always say the best thing is to eat as much fibre as possible - some bran flakes although a bit boring is the best thing for you - or wholemeal bread.  If it really is bothering you though, maybe try some laxatives to clear you out?!

  9. fiber water and consult physician f that bad

    always try e***a

  10. Milk of magnesia works great! or Senna which is over the counter.  If you can stand prune juice it is a good natural laxative.

  11. eating fiber and drinking water is essential to prevent constipation but there r a few medicines u could take to help u....check the over the counter kind of medicines....if its serious see a doctor

  12. It takes a couple of days to start to see the effects. Just eat plenty of fruit, and if you can stand the taste, try some castor oil.

  13. Drink plenty of water, eat lots of fruits like (pineapple, oranges, bananas, plums, mango and best of all: papaya, eat plenty of broccoli and lettuce and you'll soon see the difference)

  14. I don't know what the active ingredient was in the above instance as both - you've taken a natural stimulant and lubricant at the same time! - but to ward off constipation I recommend everything suggested by Dulcinea.

But if you need medication - don't use Dulcolax!  There's a Dulco-Ease product that might be easier to handle, but Dulcolax is not a stool-softener but a stimulant-irritant.  And a powerful one that will either tie your stomach in knots or set your a$$ on fire or both (depending on how you take it).

  15. I agree with those that recommended a stool softener. You could continue to eat lots of fiber and drink plenty of fluids, but going ahead and taking the med is likely to move things along (so to speak) so you (hopefully) won't have to wait another couple of days before having a more normal "movement".
