Millie correctly answered 52 questions on a math test. She received a score of 80%. How many questions were on the test?

    So in this situation,

    52/Total Questions = 0.80

    So we need to solve for Total Questions

    52/0.80 = Total Questions

    Total Questions = 65

    Therefore, there were 65 questions on the test.


  2. or x * .8 = 52

    so x = 52 / .8 = 520 / 8 = 65

  3. 52 is 80%

    6.5 is 10%

    65 is 100%

    65 questions
