Consumer refund?

Question

I have bought a jacket yesterday for £300 and paid for it it credit card. Now the problem is that i mentioned this particular jacket to my sister last week and she has also picked me one up today as a suprise on her credit card. On the back of the receipt it says the shop does not give refunds only exchanges or credit notes. Now i have 2 identical jackets at a cost of £600 when i only need the one. the shop does not offer refunds so what can i do to get the money back on one of them??

If you shop there often enough, they'll recognize you as a loyal customer and will refund your money if they want your business.  If they refuse, go higher up to the store owner if possible.  If that doesn't work, make up a sob story about how you were just layed off from your job and you have no income to pay for the credit card bill.  Cry if u need to..
