  1. use eye drops.. when i first got contacts it hurt but then if you use eye drops it doesn't hurt anymore or try putting a drop of your solution on the contact before putting it in.

  2. You may have scratched your eyeball. Try reverting back to normal spectacles for a couple of days and try again.

Don't mess with your eyes, whenever you are in doubt, throw them away and use new ones.

  3. It would be best to check for any damage. If there is none, maybe you need to use a different type of contact lense.

When I got mine the optician said I had to build up to wearing them all day. One hour the first day, two hours the second day and so on.

    I hope this helps you.

  4. I get this sometimes and i know it sounds weird but i haveto have the contact in line with my eye when i put it in. If this doesn't work for you i sometimes find that if i put a few drops of solution in my eye while it's in that helps.

If neither of these works go to the opticians and they should be able to sort you out.

  5. It might be a damanged lens.

It could also be that you have the wrong type of lens/size etc.  If it carries on, go and see your optician.

  6. Maybe it doesn't fit the size of your eye, you should make an appointment to see your optometrist and see if you can try a different kind out.

  7. check it isn't torn or scratched, that happens to me a lot.

you might have an eyelash underneath it? I know that hurts quite a bit.

also if you're using hard lenses maybe you should switch to soft lenses, thats what i use

  8. Check to make sure that there isn't a scratch on it or that it isnt torn... that can often happen.  Also, it may be that the contact has moulded to the wrong part of your eye, in which case there isn't much you can do other than throw it out.

  9. It might now be the write prescription or you could have damaged it when taking it out or putting it in. Also they dry out so maybe use eye drops.

P.S. Don't sleep with them in.

  10. I always wear contacts and after a while you eyelid develops very small blisters this makes ur eyes itch and irrate your lense.

Get a warm flannel and hold it against you eye this bursts the little blisters - so the optician told me!

if i carrys on go back to ur contact provider

    hope this helps

  11. Yeah, it's prolly torn.

This happens to me sometimes when I take allergy meds cuz it dries out my eyes as well as my sinuses.

Try using "Blink and Clean" it's an eye drop that you can use as often as you need to.

    Good luck!

  12. Could be a number of things. There might be a very small tear in the contact, so check closely. You may have scratched your eye somehow and you are feeling that. Or, you might have a small stye somewhere on your inner lid.

Does the place where it hurts move? If so, it's probably your contact itself. If it always seems to be in the same place, it might be a small scratch or stye.

  13. tell your doctor

i just got my contacts and they say we don't expect you to feel pain when you wear them.
